Sunglass Lens Treatments

Complement your lifestyle with lens treatments for your prescription sunglasses.

Polarized Sunglasses

Polarized lenses filter out unwanted glare with a polarizing film between two layers of glass. Polarized lenses:

  • Reduce eye strain for outdoor activities such as biking, skiing, or waterskiing
  • Improve safety while driving by filtering out glare
  • Are ideal for outdoor enthusiasts

Ultraviolet Protection (UV Protection) Glasses or Sunglasses

UV rays have been linked to cataracts, cancer of the skin around the eyes, and long-term eye damage such as macular degeneration of the retina. Many of our lenses come with UV protection.

UV protection sunglasses:

  • Help block harmful UV rays
  • Can be combined with your prescription
  • Are rated for UV protection right on the labels. We recommend that all eyewear—sunglasses, prescription glasses, and nonprescription glasses—block a minimum of 95 percent of UV-A rays.

** No lenses are shatterproof or unbreakable.
