Dr. Samantha Ziegler
Education
Dr. Samantha Ziegler grew up in Maple Grove and then attended Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. She obtained her Degree of Optometry from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, in June 2018.
About
Director or Optometry at Maple Grove Eye Doctors at Pearle Vision, Dr. Ziegler is happy to be back living in NE Minneapolis and working with the team of Maple Grove Eye Doctors at Pearle Vision in the community where she grew up. In her free time, Dr. Ziegler enjoys finding new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Calvin (as of July 2018!) who is currently in law school.
Dr. Ben Hume
Education
Dr. Hume graduated with a degree in Biochemistry from Minnesota State-Mankato in 2002 and went on to obtain his degree in Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry in 2006
About
Dr. Hume and his family with wife, Shelly, & their 2 toddlers, Whitley and Weston, and baby, Wells. Born in Feb. 2020, have moved here from Colorado to be closer to family so they?ve built a new home in Mound, a few blocks from Lake Minnetonka, & close to one of his sisters and her family. The family is trading mountains for lakes and family!
Dr. Hume enjoys long distance running so he?s looking forward to exploring Minnesota trails & parks. He?s also a lifelong diehard Twins and Vikings fan.
Dr. Mark Korthals

About
Dr. Mark Korthals grew up in Northwestern Iowa and obtained his optometry degree at The Illinois College of Optometry in 2004. Dr. Korthals resides in Mound with his wife, Lisa, who has her Masters in Theology, is an author and founder of a non-profit Help for All, and daughters, Lexi and Ashley. He enjoys anything sports related and spending time with his family.
Dr. Stacy Perreault
Education
Dr. Perreault grew up in Grand Rapids, MN and graduated from the University of North Dakota. She received her Degree of Optometry from the Arizona College of Optometry.
About
Dr. Perreault and her fiance Salvatore reside in Saint Louis Park, MN. Salvatore, is currently in school to be a veterinary technician. Guess what? They currently have three cats, two dogs, and a few fish tanks, and Dr. Perreault says that she would not be surprised if that list continues to grow, as Salvatore starts his career😊. Her hobbies include hiking with their dogs, gardening, and spending time at the lake where they love going to visit her parents to spend time boating, fishing, & swimm
Dr. Barrett Wingard

Dr. Wingard graduated from Boston College in MA and obtained his Degree in Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry.
About
Dr. Barrett Wingard lives in downtown Minneapolis. He grew up in South Central Pennsylvania and has a young tortoise shell cat named Aurora. He loves cooking, playing music, exploring the outdoors and spending quality time with His friends and family.
He has just joined the team at Maple Grove Eye Doctors at Pearle Vision in June of 2022, bc he was really drawn to the environment of the clinic and the neighborhood as a whole.
