About
Dr. Shannon Fowler is a 1997 graduate of the UAB School of Optometry in Birmingham. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1993 with a B.S. in Biology and is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He has provided eye care for the Destin area since 1997 and founded the Pearle franchise in 2001. Dr. Fowler has a special interest in the design and fitting of all contact lens types including lenses for astigmatism and multifocal contact lenses.

About
Dr. Lea Spears grew up in Freeport, Florida and attended Freeport High School. She received her Associate of Arts degree from Santa Fe Community College and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology at the University of Florida. She later graduated with her doctorate of optometry from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society.
