Dr. Shannon McClure
About
Dr. McClure specializes in primary care, contact lenses, and management of ocular disease. She completed her undergraduate degree in health education from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.
She went on to receive her doctorate of optometry at Indiana University School of Optometry in Bloomington, Indiana. As a student, she gained experience in pediatrics, low vision rehabilitation, specialty contact lenses, surgical co-management, and management of ocular disease such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. Dr. McClure is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and is a member of the Colorado Optometric Association.
Dr. McClure grew up in a military family and has happily made northern Colorado home as her parents were raised in the area and she has her extended family nearby. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, running, reading, baking, Broncos football, and Rockies baseball.

Dr. John Colvin
Education
Colorado State - bachelors in Microbiology and Biology Pacific University -Doctorate in Optometry
About
Dr. Colvin eared a bachelors degree in Microbiology and Biology from Colorado State University and a Doctorate in Optometry from Pacific University. His education focused on diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, refractive status and contact lens fitting.
He enjoys meeting with patients and solving their vision problems.
He spends his free time with his children and grandchildren and enjoys hiking, fishing, birdwatching, photography and camping.

Dr. James Hamer
About
Dr. Hamer brings 30 of Optometric experience to our Pearle locations in Loveland and Longmont, Colorado. He grew up in the Midwest and is a graduate of Indiana University, receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1988.
He practiced Optometry in the US Air Force for over 20 years where he gained a wealth of experience in optometric primary care, contact lens fitting and evaluation, medical management of ocular disease, laser vision co-management and family optometric care.
After 20 years of Air Force travel, Dr. Hamer settled in Colorado because of his love of the mountains and outdoor fun.
He welcomes patients of all ages and enjoys challenging cases.
