Most days our doctors can provide comprehensive eye exams within 24 hrs of your call. For your convenience, we also offer on line appointment scheduling. Many appointments can be arranged the same day.
What is the cost of a contact lens exam?

Meet the Eye Care Professionals
Dr. Gary D'Angelo, optometrist

Gary D'Angelo, O.D. has over 30 years experience in the eye care field. After attending New England College of Optometry in Boston, he started a private practice in Connecticut. Longing for a more temperate climate, he moved to Virginia and became associated with a large group practice. This led to the opportunity, with his partner Marylin Borza, O.D., to be the first optometrists in Virginia to purchase a Pearle Vision franchise. Dr. D'Angelo is an avid traveler and photographer. The office is decorated with many displays of his works. He has been married to his wife, Colleen, for over 40 years.

Dr Borza has also had over 30 years experience in the eye care field. She has had her home base at the Pearle Vision in Lynnhaven Mall, Virginia Beach, for many years before transferring over to our newest location in Crossways Shopping Center in Chesapeake. Along with her business partner, Dr. D'Angelo, they pioneered owning a Pearle Vision franchise in Virginia.
Dr. Prajay Patel, optometrist

Prajay Patel, O.D. provides comprehensive eye care to all ages, with a special interest in ocular diseases (diabetes, glaucoma, cataract, macular degeneration, red eye) and dry eye treatment. He is originally from Hanover, PA and completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Penn State University. Dr. Patel went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, at Salus University, in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in ocular disease at the Wilmington Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Dr. Patel is passionate about providing exceptional, individualized care to each patient, with an emphasis on patient education and compassion. During his free time Dr. Patel enjoys playing tennis and cricket, watching sports, and spending time with his friends and family. Dr. Patel is proficient in English, Gujarati, and Hindi
