Went in for my regular exam dr decided to charge my insurance for medical instead of using my insurance I had for glasses and contacts. I had to then pay a co pay of 22.00 for my prescription for glasses and $140 for contacts prescription which they lowered to $60 which if they had used my eye insurance I wouldn't of had to pay anything. The office girl when I asked to see my prescription for contacts from last year was any changes she wouldn't even let me see my prescription until I pd the $60.00 which was rude. I will Never go back to this place cause they rip u off on their prices. Go to Costco or another place to get glasses and contacts. As I arrived in front of their office, the sole technician left for lunch at the same time. The receptionist told me that I would have to wait for an hour until she returned. I asked if ANY services were available while she was out to lunch and was told there wasn't. This means that any customer who visits while the tech is out will have to wait until she returns. No signage or web postings were posted to to warn customers of this lapse in continuous services. While the services I've received from this office has been satisfactory in the past, leaving the business open without anyone to help customers is irresponsible and shortsighted. I posted this so other customers should be aware that you need to call their office first before visiting them. It will save you a trip. A word of advice - at least train the receptionist with basic information about sales promotions, pricing, and insurance options sufficiently to keep the customer involved instead of simply saying, we can't help you until the tech returns from lunch. Poor customer service = loss of customers. The woman with braces that sold us my sons glasses was very nice. We went in on August 2nd at 1pm and the doctor we had was an impatient old man. He had zero patience for my 5 year old who was just excited to get his first eye exam. I was expecting dr. Lopez that is on the website when I decided to go with this practice but we got old man River. Anyway, we would be back for the rest of my familys eye care needs, if the doctor was actually caring about anything besides getting out of there, which he did right after he wrote my kids prescription. We spent about $800 on 2 pairs of glasses for my son plus the $139 for the 5 minute eye exam.
