I asked if she could look me up in her system since it was at a Pearle Vision location and unfortunately they can’t do that since they aren’t all affiliated. She also told me that the script I have is “illegal”. So basically accusing me of trying to provide a fake eyeglass prescription, I mean are you kidding me? So then I said okay well I guess I can schedule an eye exam but for now I don’t need any more help I’ll just be looking around at the glasses and I’ll come back for an exam. She then proceeds to say to me that “unfortunately if you’re not going to buy something, you can’t look around”. At this point I was at my wits end and said a few unkind words to her and left the store. But how would she know that I “wasn’t going to buy something?!” I in fact was going to do exactly that. Most people go above and beyond to welcome me into their businesses and even more to welcome me back into their businesses because I always am an excellent customer and buy way more than I even need! I am beyond unsatisfied with this experience, poorest customer service and rudest encounter I have had in possibly my life but most definitely the few months I’ve been in Colorado. Highly recommended ANYWHERE ELSE THAN HERE for anything you need. He made my daughter and I feel cared about and not just a number. Very sweet and passionate about his job. I’ve been there in the past when there would be a lot of employees running around and not answering questions, addressing any concerns, looking happy, etc. Jacob was doing the front check in, the machine dark hot room, and everything else all by himself. And he never once made us feel rushed. He took time to explain any question we had and even was able to handle my daughter’s anxiety so well with the machine stuff. There aren’t many people who do his job that can do that the way he did. She felt excited for future visits but most importantly she felt heard without judgment by every person we interacted with. Dr.Woo also addressed all questions we had. She also didn’t make us feel like a number. Even picking out the glasses was extremely pleasant compared to the past.(I didn’t ask his name which I feel bad for but his desk was closest to the check in desk.) I have never had anyone explain how to choose glasses for. ourselves the way he did let alone explain and show the options for the lense options. The team working today was amazing! Thank you guys! I’ve never gotten out of any kind of appointment with my daughter being so uplifted before. I would highly recommend the team Working today to all of my family and friends! For three days, the vision center I'm getting my safety glasses from was being given the run around by Pearle Vision (my current prescription had expired) so finally on Saturday morning I called them myself to explain that I needed my prescription extended so I could get new safety glasses. After nearly 4 hours they finally called me back to say the doctor wasn't going to extend my prescription so I would be forced to make an appointment to get a new one. Given that I work the graveyard shift this was extremely inconvenient for me. Needless to say I was forced to stay up until 11:30am for my appointment when I needed to be sleeping. What should've been a quick 15-20 minute appointment turned into nearly 40. Between the long appointment time and traffic I didn't get home until nearly 12:30pm and had a hard time staying asleep so I'm physically exhausted. If you value your time, don't come here.\n\nOn a final note, thank you Jacob for being just a general ray of sunshine. I have been a loyal patient of the Hamilton Vision Center for seven years. During this time, this office and its associated Pearl Vision store have provided regular eye exams and eyeglasses for my family of 5. I last visited this office on February 09, 2023 at 1:00 pm. While the doctor and her staff continue to be very thorough and professional, the eyeglasses store staff - especially the store manager - have become rude, confrontational, and unwilling to propose alternatives to helping me/my family find frames and glasses. During this visit, I worked directly with the store manager. When he told me that my insurance would not cover the frames and lenses that I wanted, he became very defensive in his tone of voice and demeanor while insisting that he would not do anything that would \"get (him) fired\". Instead of providing me with alternative choices for frames and lenses that my insurance plan would cover, this manager chose to make my visit about himself and his unwillingness to work with a long-time and loyal customer. After being both surprised and dismayed by his shift in demeanor, I wished him good luck and promptly left. Unfortunately, my wife had also made a similar complaint about this same eyeglasses store with its staff behaving impatiently towards her during her last visit on November 12, 2022 at 11:00 am. That being said, while I consider Hamilton Vision's doctors and nurses to be excellent, the Pearl Vision Center sales staff and manager have done a superb job of driving this loyal customer's business somewhere else.
