I am a medical provider myself so know what I should expect. I called beforehand (needed more than one call) to make sure that the frames that I wanted were still in stock with the vendor as well as to have them help me pick a vision insurance plan. THEY helped me sign up for insurance. This was all because I planned to go to them to fill this prescription as these frames are hard to get and expensive. I wanted to make sure that it was covered. The time comes for the vision plan to be active (+/- 6 weeks later) and 1st- no one in the doctor's office was picking up for me to make an appointment to have my eyes checked so I went to another office to have that done. Afterwards, I returned with the prescription, in order to have it filled. Customer service rep at the frame shop recognized my name as I had been in contact with them- but guess what? when it came time to fill the prescription- she couldn't find my file. She said that it had be shredded because it was too old- then said to \"call them\" if I found the info. SERIOUSLY?!?!\n\nIt is now 2 Weeks later and apparently I get to edit this post, I wish it were for the positive- They called back about the frames. I returned the call thinking that something positive can come out of the experience. The person on the other line was obviously not pleased to be speaking to me. I asked what the call was about, she said that they had called regarding the frames. I stated that it was OK as I had already ordered them from the Optician in PHILADELPHIA who had originally bought them for me. Then she just HUNG UP. No other statement, just a dial tone.
