Over 2 weeks later and no glasses. Order was placed on 9.29.2025, they made sure to bill insurance right away ... however never followed up on status. I was told they'd be in this week (after I had called a couple times), then I called today and they said one of the lenses was on backorder and they had no date on when it'd come in. I asked to speak to the manager who I was told was not there but would call me - mind you I was told I'd get a call once they figured out what was going on because it'd been over 2 weeks, yet they never called. I called my insurance company to get the claim reversed as we still had no glasses for my son and now need to go somewhere else and use insurance. Insurance told me the provider would need to reverse the claim, called Pearle Vision again and spoke to a very rude Elizabeth \"manager\" who stated she already did but when I called my insurance they said they didn't so the insurance did a 3 way call with me on the line and now, finally, the claim is reversed. After it took a couple weeks for the glasses to come in, I went to go pick them up only to find out the lenses were not anti-glare. I had to wait another 3 weeks to pick up the right lenses. I found out afterward that I had paid the price for the anti-glare at the time of ordering the glasses and never got them until I mentioned it. I went in on Jan and didn’t get my glasses (which are still off) in April. When I walked in there was a customer complaining about his glasses and how they weren’t clear or comfortable. That should have been my sign but who would have know. After 10 visits of 40min drives there and back, the manager gave me the ultimatum that they would try one more time in changing the material and looked at me like I was a child. Like it was my fault that the prescription was botched the first two times around (contacts and glasses). They were way off. Finally after the fourth visit another eye doctor did my exam and got my contact prescription to be immaculate. They were way off first time around. My glasses were a fish bowl. The new prescription was incredible hence the two stars. I couldn’t be happier them. They worked with me with changing the prescription for the glasses, said it could be material. I get it. They changed that. Still was blurry and giving me insane headaches two weeks in. They are unwearable for my intended use which is to sit at the computer and normal activity. Mind you it took another two weeks every time I went in to change the prescription/ material, to receive the glasses. I’ve been there like 8 times now. I’m frustrated and they are frustrated. But no need for the attitude by them. I showed none until I got attitude. Like I’m an eye doctor and it’s my fault. The last time I went in, the manager said we’ll give it one more shot and gave me this look and tone like it was my fault they butchered the prescription the first time around and it was not comfortable. I went home and they called me back two days later saying they changed it which I don’t believe they did. Two weeks, and once three weeks to now two days? They just wanted me gone or give me a refund. That was my last impression of this place. I’ve chosen just to bite the bullet and keep the glasses and get another exam next year somewhere else and see if they can see what they don’t. To not deal with getting a refund and not even be able to use my insurance credit for the year that was wasted on glasses that aren’t useable is annoying. I used my insurance coverage on the glasses and not the contacts. But it is what it is. My fault for choosing a location when I was out to try and kill to birds with one stone. Never had this situation and I’ve had two pairs of glasses in the past. I was willing to add it, but me and partner both asked questions about it, including if they would be covered if they were lost, not just broken. So here we are, glasses lost, and the manager claims that nobody there would have ever said the plan covers lost or stolen and was essentially gaslighting me, telling me it didn’t happen and wouldn’t ever happen. So please beware that they will lie to you to get you to pay more and were clearly preying on my concern over frequently losing things (my own fault) and the manager will immediately side with and cover up the teams lies. I assure you that I was as polite and respectful as can be, and she went straight to saying that that they couldn’t have possibly said that to me. My partner was with me and also clearly remembers us asking about lost/stolen coverage and that being what us purchasing the protection plan was contingent on.\n\nLong story short, they were were dishonest, and then dishonest about their dishonesty even to the point of being accusatory.
