I was immediately assisted by Drew Vinciquerra, who tried very hard to find me just the right pair of frames, to replace the vintage ones (held together with scotch tape) that I was wearing. Although I didn't find anything I loved enough to buy, Drew asked if I wanted him to repair my taped-up old ones. They were in pretty bad shape, but he was able to find an earpiece that was similar to the other side, and used it to replace the damaged one. There was no charge for his time and effort, so this, in my opinion, was customer service at its best! I haven't even been wearing glasses long enough for them to be very old. Second, the waiver was given to me a standard part of your service and was told that frame breakage was quite rare. It's not as if my frames were inspected and then I was given some dire warning. If anything, this comes across as a big con to get people to buy more frames from you. \"Oh darn, your frames broke! How sad for you! Even though we broke them, you should buy more frames from us!\". You're lucky I didn't call the cops in. *******\nYou say you offered me \"free lenses\", as if I didn't already pay you for them. More underhanded, deceptive language from you - why am I not surprised?! I give you my glasses, sign your waiver (with an explanation that breakage is rare, without any inspection of my glasses showing why mine in particular would break, and a statement that this waiver is just a standard part of your service), I pay you for the new lenses - upon my return you refund my payment for the lenses and present me with my broken glasses. Result: I'm screwed out of lots of money. Those weren't cheap frames.\nHere's an idea to improve your business - either replace your customers' property when you break it (starting with mine), OR only offer new lenses to customers that buy new frames. Save yourself some headaches.\nIt's not slander when it's nothing but the facts. You just don't like my opinion that you're a 1-star business and that people should do business elsewhere out of fear that you'll break their glasses. I had mentioned that I was having trouble seeing and my vision had changed. I got a full eye exam but the eye doctor wanted to decrease my prescription, which makes no sense. I wasn’t really heard from a patients perspective and I was very upset. The sales people who do work here are very nice and helpful considering I couldn’t find my keys and the sales lady was kind enough to help me look for them. We were told that the fix might take up to a week and a half (straddling a holiday), and we got a call in less than a week that everything was ready. We were helped by Alex and Paula who were wonderful. The lady that answered today was super short and asked me what I needed. I stated that I called on Friday and haven’t received my script and just wanted to follow up. She responded with “ well you know what we were extremely short staffed on Friday so that’s why it wasn’t done” then continues to take my email address and goes “yea and we are also extremely short staffed today also so yea don’t know when it will get to you” or something along those lines. Mind you I wasn’t rude at all when following up on this situation. I understand that Covid has had many negative impacts and people are working short staffed and odd hours and everyone’s work world has been turned upside down. I’m a nurse on the frontlines of COVID currently so yea....I know what it’s like to work under this stress. The major attitude wasn’t appreciated and I hope that this woman finds some other stress relief in her life other than being rude to her customers.
