On this occasion, Alvin was excellent in helping me select the latest eyewear styles—thanks to him, it turned out to be a great choice. This is the worse location in the world they were completely rude, disrespectful and unhelpful to young adult vulnerable adult client! Alvin is the so called general manger A general manager is not an owner! We were refused the correct contact information for management and was also hung up on when I called to see what was going on with my client ! Worse service ever NEVER BRING YOUR KIDS TO THESE PPL !! Never come to this location POLICE WHERE CALLED ON THE STAFF !

Pearl Vision at this location is the best I would recommend anyone to get there eye exam done there I have been going there for awhile even the workers there are absolutely friendly and helpful

I had an issue with my contact lenses that were delivered. It was a manufacturer issue, no fault of Pearle. When I called, I fully expected to have to go in for another eye exam and pay out of pocket to get the correct contacts, which would have been difficult for me. Instead, Alvin made the whole experience amazing, fixed the issue and was super helpful! I am so happy I found this location!

I had some issues with my insurance from a previous provider, and Alvin was patient and helpful in getting everything sorted out. It could have been a nightmare but he and the other staff on site were kind and personable. I left there feeling taken care of, for sure!

My sons and I have been customers of the Roseville Pearl vision for several years and have always gotten our glasses here with no problem or complaints.
This year my 13 year old chose some black frames. When we came to pick them up, we immediately noticed they were the wrong frames. Although the description was "brown" they appeared very red and made any acne stand out even more. We asked that they correct their error and of course, they agreed.
They next day, I received an angry phone call from Alvin. He was rude and condescending. He said there was no record of the black frames being ordered and that those frames were out of stock anyway. We should just take what there was. When I refused and told him it was their mistake, he got really angry and really rude. He said I could take what they had or wait indefinitely for black frames. I asked him to explain why we would have to wait indefinitely. He said he had already explained it enough times. I said, " well I don't know, maybe I'm just stupid.." to which he said " I think you choose the right word".
After I got off work I went to Pearl vision Roseville to figure out how to get glasses for my kid. I tried to work with a different employee, but Alvin insisted on talking to me, even though I told him and the other employee I didn't want to deal with him. He told me that I had to wait 30 days before I could order glasses at a different store. I asked for a copy of my prescription and I left.
40 days later, I went to Pearl vision West St Paul. This is where I learned that my insurance had been billed for the glasses as though my child has taken them home. They assured me they could "work around it" and ordered the black frames for my kid.
The next day I received a 12 second voice message stating that it was not possible to get glasses for my kid.
I called Pearl Vision Roseville to ask to speak with Dr Meyer, as he is franchise owner. I hoped to give him the opportunity to correct the situation if he was unaware. Alvin answered and when I asked when would be a convenient time to speak with Dr Meyer, he told me that I couldn't, and he hung up on me.
I called back, spoke to another reasonable employee, and asked for a return phone call from DR Meyer at his convenience when he was back in the office the following Monday.
When I did not receive a phone call from DR Meyer, my son and I went to Pearl vision Roseville to speak with Dr Meyer. Alvin saw me and said that I had to leave immediately and threatened to call the police. Fortunately my son did record that interaction.
I wished I could have made contact with Dr Meyer, because I believe he would have cleared up the issue. All I need to make me happy, is a pair of black framed glasses for my child. Like the ones that we have been billed for.
Now I have to begin a fraud investigation. My child has medical assistance. So it is fraud against the state. So sad. Dr Meyer is a nice guy. But I have no choice. I will see the to the end.
Alvin is rude, condescending, and completely disrespectful. I am not even sure of the motivation behind that. Is it because of the state insurance, that he doesn't believe we are worth his time because he won't make any extra in up charges? Is it because I challenged him as a woman? I have no idea, but I am extremely uncomfortable and even fearful that he has access to my information.

What an awesome experience, Alvin really helped us and found the right pair of glasses for my kids. Also got some new sunglasses which was a bonus to finally get some sunglasses that would not fall off my face. Will be going back!
