I opened a new set after finishing last year’s supply, and when I put them on, I noticed a change in my vision. I could see clearly at a distance, but my near vision was blurry or doubled.\n\nI called the office to ask for assistance. My call was transferred from the call center to the store, and I spoke with a gentleman (unfortunately, I did not get his name). He informed me that my last exam was in February and said, “Here’s what we can do—you can come in, and we can check the lenses.” He provided the office hours and noted that they would be closed for the holiday. I was about to ask if I could come in today, but the call was disconnected.\n\nI called back and spoke with a female staff member who told me they could not check my contact lenses because my last exam was in February. I explained that I currently do not have any usable contact lenses. She responded that I can be eligible for a new set on January next year and that I would need to wait until then; in the meantime, she suggested that I use my glasses.\n\nI have nothing against Pearle Vision, as they have provided excellent service throughout the many years I’ve been a client. However, I am hoping for some consideration in this situation, as I received conflicting information from different staff members. When I was asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment for January of next year, I declined.
