I have a hard time seeing on the small laptop screens my job just switched to. I took an accommodation form which she just need to check off the vision box and list my eye conditions and list a recommendation to provide an adequate screen or larger screen laptop. She refused to speak to me, give me an eye exam and told the receptionist that she will not sign anything and that I should go to my primary care doctor to sign a vision accommodation form. I cant ask a random eye doctor to sign such a form or a random location where I haven't treated at before. When they finally brought them out, the hinge was extremely wobbly and they were loose. It was not at all wobbly when bringing in and they knew it, since they were the one originally saying they were tight. When I asked for a solution, since we only purchased lenses to save money, they basically said ya it's at your own risk go kick rocks. I understand it's at your own risk - but I thought basic care was expected and understood ... Not manhandly them so they break. The lady who did the service was unbelievably unhelpful which I'm pretty sure was because her manager was sitting right there saying nothing.\n\nNever getting glasses or lenses here again. Absolute disaster.\n\nHowever, the eye doctor is a gem and can't speak highly enough of her!\n\n-----\nSee update above....\n\nAbsolutely fantastic experience!\n\nThis was our first time there and we picked it simply because they had a parking lot and evening hours.\n\nWhen we got there, we had two different appointments which were two hours apart. However, they were kind enough to take us right away one after another. Plus, they were very knowledgeable and helpful with explaining all our questions. Their technology was very fancy and advanced... Although it was a super easy experience for us!\n\nThis was all done by the lovely technician who then set me up in the exam room with the doctor.\n\nShe was utterly fantastic! Very sweet and kind but also so so knowledgeable! She explained things so clearly, answered all my questions, and was so thorough.\n\nThen, when we went to look for glasses the staff was so helpful! Previously visiting Pearle today I went to a couple Optical stores in the last couple weeks to get Quotes. I had my provider info on me every time I visit any optical place. I never let the Provider know that I was well aware of my rights and contract terms. I told each provider what I wanted and they gave me astronomical quotes not taking into consideration my provider coverages. The others were giving me quotes that was twice as much. But, Pearle Vision was an exception. I entered the store and immediately a young lady assisted me. She printed out my coverages and then asked me what I wanted. I told her and then she showed me in details what is covered and not covered. She never tried once to sell me something extra. She explained what is the difference between selections and said it is your choice. Also said if something is not covered I get an extra 30% off. The quote was on point and everything I expected from my coverage . I told the girl after the quote that is roughly the same number I have in my estimate. I am well versed in my coverage contract and the insurance terms of what is covered and not covered, so no optical place is going to rip me off. These people are honest and I will 100% refer my friends and family to them.
