She asked me the usual questions and I remember saying nothing had changed for insurance and I definitely wasn’t interested in contacts. Not realizing my insurance had changed she called me back to reschedule the appointment I had and said it has to be with another doctor due to your insurance change. No big deal. I show up for said appointment and she claims I told her I wanted contacts. I explained calmly I did not ever say that considering the experience I had the last time. She was very rude and short. I saw the doctor and he said I had a change in script. When she saw the change she told me I didn’t need new glasses it wasn’t a significant change. I took her word for it and went with her to check out. Apparently with my insurance I have a $10 copay. Christine said I could not leave until I paid it. I told her I would call first thing in the morning when I got paid. She said I can’t let you leave can’t you call someone? I said I’m sorry I have no one to call? She said to another lady what am I supposed to do she doesn’t have $10, the lady yelled well you can’t release any information until she pays. Needless to say they let me leave embarrassed, and wondering if they were calling the police versus just sending me a bill? How rude and way to make a person feel even worse about not having any money.
