I go to my other eye Dr in the morning and they said they didnt have even though pearle said they faxed it over the day before i had to call pearle again and give them all my information again then asked for the fax number of the other eye dr again. they sent the rx it was not ledegable had to call a third time person at pearle gave an attitude and sent it again. I will never go back. Terrible customer service and over priced.\n\nFollow up to my review\n\nFyi\n\nWent to Pearle vision in Twinsburg last month to get my eyes examined i was having trouble seeing and severe dry eyes with discharge at night. DR tells me that there are eye drops but insurance doesn’t cover them says my eyes are fine had issue with getting my rx to have it filled elseward. Receptionist at Pearle gave me attitude tried to get back in to see the Dr they kept saying she is all booked. So i follow up with Americas best since they did my glasses Dr examines my eyes and says i have a severe bacterial infection in my left eye that is starting to eat away at my cornea gave me prescription eye drops which the insurance does cover the cost and tells me that my contact lens rx has had a big change. And i need different contacts. When I had arrived for my appointment they were incredibly polite and welcoming they got me to the back for my exam promptly. when I had finished my exam they helped me pick out the right frames as well as thoughly explain my options they really simplified the entire proccess you dont feel rushed out the door or anxious here. Also, the glasses he waited several weeks for were actually the wrong prescription, he couldn't see and they hurt his eyes causing headaches. He finally got their attention and they asked him to come in, after another complete exam, at no cost this time, it was determined the arrogant doctor noted the wrong numbers, she actually caught her own error. All we heard was, \"this never happens\", \"she never makes mistakes\" everyone makes mistakes, you just own it and resolve it when you do. They did get the corrected glasses to him, another several weeks later. What a frustrating experience.\n\nJan 2022: I hate that my sons vision insurance only covers Pearle. The Dr was arrogant, provided incorrect prescription trial pack (because they didn't stock the correct one) and was just downright poor with caring for the patient. The single staff member was too busy and flustered to provide good service every time we went in.\n\nThe confirmed in stock contacts didn't deliver on time, they were delayed, because they were out of stock. The left contacts arrived a week after the right. Those were $600 for a year, he completed the rebate form for $100, after 4 weeks he hasn't received the Visa card nor heard anything back from Pearle on his inquiries.\n\nThe glasses, he had to pick up in store for adjustments, first it's ridiculous to pay $400 (after insurance coverage deducted) for a pair of glasses to be used as emergency back up, just in case. Second, after three weeks he received no call, they were supposed to be ready in two weeks, he called several times, each time being told they weren't in yet. Last, we stopped in while shopping next door, turns out his glasses were sitting in the back several days, no one bothered to call him.\n\nHe got home took out his contacts to put on the glasses and he cannot focus his eyes wearing them, also they are not transition nor anti-glare. He tried to call and the answering service picked up, stating not to leave a message because they cannot retrieve. No email address, no contact us, nothing. This is a nightmare!!!!\n\nWe complained to Pearle about the Dr and the experience two weeks ago, no response.\n\nOur previous insurance covered Walmart, he received 90 days of contacts and two pair of back-up glasses (one for work, one for personal) for around $100 out of pocket. Surprisingly, the Dr was great, she had a fantastic rapport with him.
