Had to wait for the right lenses to be ordered again. 2nd visit- gave me the right lenses but again heat stress cracks not only directly where I see but around the edges of the lenses. I paid hundreds of dollars for these. I only buy 1 pair a year and I'm never buying from here again. Zinni will be having my business from now on. Now I have to go back and get a refund. After going through the exam, we picked bifocal lenses and paid $693.18. The order was placed to be shipped to my house. The doctor said since it’s a progressive lense, which is new for my mother, it would take her a while to get used to them. A couple of weeks later, we received the new glasses in the mail. My mom said it was hard for her to adjust to new glasses but I asked her to be patient since the doctor said it would take a while. I was confident there was no issue with the glasses and it’s just taking time for her to adapt to a progressive lense versus her regular reading glasses. A couple of months later, my mom had to leave the country to get a surgery done and she was gone for a few months. Now she’s back and we went to Pearle Vision today, on December 26, 2024 and turns out the glasses weren’t made correctly according to her prescription and they weren’t marked correctly where it switches from distance prescription to reading and they want me to pay over $700 to get this fixed. They are saying I’m past 90 day window but it is the mistake they made so I don’t feel like I have to pay anything at all to fix their error. I was told that I would be contacted via call when my glasses were ready for pick up. They said that it typically takes anywhere from 7-10 business days to be ready for pick up. I waited until 11 business days passed by before contacting the office, and they then told me that the glasses had been ready for pick up for a while. I double checked for any messages on voicemail or email that I may have missed, but did not have any. Once I came to the office to pick up my glasses, the prescription ended up giving me a horrible headache every time I wore them. I thought maybe my eyes needed to adjust to them as they had told me in the office, but 2 weeks later and I could not continue wearing them. I ended up going back to my old glasses, so I'll have to wait until next year when my insurance allows me new glasses again.\n\nI wish I had a great experience like my friend did, so maybe I just had a bad assessment and first time there.
