It was a \"virtual on site eye doctor appointment.\" (They called me 9 times prior to my visit to validate my insurance and or confirm my appointment. They could have alerted in one of those)\n\nThe day I went their video technology was down so it would have been a phone call. They offered me a new appointment on one fo the days the doctor was in. Fine. The end of the day before Thanksgiving. Wasn't happy but whatever.\n\nThe staff seemed somewhat pleasant that visit.\n\nCame back for my appointment. The female eye doctor was rude as hell. Not only spoke to me like a high school principal speaks to a kid, Between the valley girl voice and attitude as she stood there somewhat impatiently with hands on her hips as i tried on the contacts she gave. Made me feel like I was the inconvenience to her. Wild. Like my time isn't as valuable.\n\nThe guy closing me out maybe said 3 words until it came time to sell me more stuff than I needed. The eye dr seems thorough and quick. The lady that helps order the glasses is very sweet. There are only 2 negatives. All of the glasses (with a small exception) look the same. Second, the girl at the front desk, her voice is so loud that we would have to pause until she was done on the phone so we could continue the fitting and discussing coverage. The plastic glasses i purchased last year were ridiculous. They tried to bend them to fit properly but the kept falling off and were all scratched up from it. I dont believe i have an odd head and have never heard that so that was disappointing. There were only 2 pair that looked ok and were not plastic so the choice was very limited. Hopefully they will read this and switch up the selection by the time i need another pair. Lol. I love cat eye glasses but i do not look good in them. They had some amazing glasses but not enough different styles. Ok peeps, switch up the selection and thank you.\n\nPlease no generic responses. Some ive read make no sense gven their issue. Apparently the doctor left with little notice in November 2024 and they were looking for a replacement still as of March 27, 2025. So we did the normal machine tests with a technician and then we connected virtually with another technician lady who conducted the vision test (reading lines, changing prescriptions etc). After that, we had to wait to be seen by the actual virtual doctor so she could verify the prescription and we had to do the line thing all over again. Finally, we had a new prescription and went out to search for new frames. There were only two employees working there during our appointment - the technician who conducted the tests and the lady who works the front desk, fits you for the glasses, and takes your payment. Both employees are very good at what they do, however, I feel like they need more people working there. There were people waiting in chairs on the side of the room and when we were called next to be fitted for glasses, one of the guys who had been waiting for a while got up and walked out. The glasses-fitting lady went over to look at her book to see the name of the guy who walked out, I presume to call him later when she wasn't so busy.
