I've been going here yearly since 2018, and the staff WAS nice. However, every year my glasses were never ready within the 2-week quoted time frame. It takes over a month at times--sometimes two. Additionally, last year I was charged for a test that they didn't submit to my insurance because it was medically unnecessary. I had paid for it at the time of my visit as I thought it was my copay. When I received a bill for the copay, I spoke with the receptionist (who WAS always nice), and she got EXTREMELY nasty with me and said she didn't know I had a copay and told me she had charged me for the test that was not medically necessary. My copay is on the front of my insurance card!!! I tried calling the billing number, but it is impossible to speak to a live person. Today they sent me a text as a yearly reminder to schedule my appointment. It was far from welcoming, and put off our experience and our enjoyment of arriving to have an exam and get new glasses. We considered leaving at that initial moment but decided to stay b/c we were hoping maybe it gets better with the doctor/others. He was very stern the entire process of preliminary exams and lacked any friendly manner expected in this type of environment. The female receptionist checking us out after the exam was very kind and friendly as well.
