They had to order blank lenses and cut them for the frames. Because of that it was going to take 2 weeks. Not a big deal I get it. When I got them I took them home and immediately noticed something was way off. If I turned my head even 1 cm everything was warped. I went back and within 20 seconds on their machine they said it was cut wrong and the distance between the eyes was wrong. They would order new ones.\n\nWe are all human and even though I would expect an optician to have checked his own work to verify the numbers, hey what can I do now.\n\nTwo weeks pass and no one can tell me if they are coming, when they will be in, or anything other than I would be called when ready. Another week passes. Another week of wearing my ancient backup glasses. I called to check in on it, no one knows. The optician will call me. End of day, no call. Call next morning. He is late. 4 hours later, of he isn’t in yet and was late yesterday but not one single person other than him can look and see where my glasses are. I drive there to talk to them. No one can help me. The office manager and optician are nowhere and are avoiding calling me.\n\nDo yourself a favor and go somewhere more professional. This shouldn’t have ever happened and now they have not only my $300 frames but also the $300 lenses that are not cut correctly. That part of the visit was the only positive part of the whole experience.\n\nAfter the exams, Jesse helped with glasses selection and measurements. My daughters (ages 17 and 8) chose their frames. We decided to wait a day to confirm the older one didn’t want to try contacts after all. The next day, I emailed Jesse to confirm we would stick with glasses, and even included pictures of the exact pairs each of my daughters picked. He acknowledged the photo and said he would get back to me—but didn’t.\n\nThe following morning, he called and said he was ready to place the order. But as he reviewed it, he completely mixed everything up—he thought my 8-year-old wanted contacts and said the 17-year-old had selected a different pair than she actually did. That was the last straw for me.\n\nI told him I no longer felt confident in him handling this order. After multiple scheduling issues, a long wait due to not being checked in, and now this confusion about my daughters’ prescriptions and glasses, I didn’t feel like our order would be right—even down to the measurements.\n\nI called the store and asked to speak with both the optometrist and the store manager/owner. I was told they’d pass the message along. I just got Them back today, and they fit perfectly, in the frames .also they made up for my lost time and my trips back-and-forth, Not to go into personal details, but he made it worthwhile!! As a small business owner myself, I understand when a customer is angry about something that was not their fault, Making the customer satisfied is great for business, because nowadays we have reviews just like this one. I looked at him confused and he started treating me like I didn't understand how insurance worked. He told me that those frames were not elegible for my insurance. So at that point this feels really fishy, because they knew I wanted to use my insurance. That's why I asked for the details beforehand. So he pulls up a bunch of random numbers with other frames, and starts getting an estimated rate. That's when I asked about UV reflection. He gave me an outrageous amount and tells me that's not covered either.\n\nUnfortuntely at that point it just felt like he wanted to sell something for his own benefit not caring about my needs nor preferences. Had he taken the time to show me the other frame options they had and given me the actual prices on the lenses with all the features I wanted, I would have bought the glasses.
