The first year, they told me my order would be ready in two weeks, but it actually took two and a half months. I explained everything, gave them all the information they needed, and was assured that doing this would save time. I even called afterward and left a voicemail asking someone to call me back since the person who answered could not take a detailed message. All I wanted was for them to run the claim on the date I became eligible.\nWhen I returned, it turned out to be a waste of time. The employee did not have my frames set aside and could not explain what happened, even though she had promised everything would be ready. I had spent a lot of time carefully picking out my frames and lenses, and I specifically chose a brand based on the deal she recommended and the quote she gave me. When I asked about it, she said she did not remember and claimed I had only picked one frame. Fortunately, I had saved a voicemail with all the details to prove otherwise.\nEven after I showed proof, she did not apologize or take responsibility. Instead, she blamed her coworkers. This situation could have been avoided if she had taken proper notes in the system.\nThis will be my last year with Pearle Vision. My experience has been nothing but wasted time and poor service. I would recommend that this place takes a look at their accounting system as I paid with my HSA and debit card, however the incorrect amounts were reflecting on their system. The worker seemed really pissy with me that she had to fix it, and even made me feel like I was wrong and their system was right. When I asked for a copy of my original receipt, she said that it was given to me, and then made a snarky remark at the end of our transaction that I should keep these receipts. I went home and checked my records, and I was right, the amounts were incorrect in their system. I ordered glasses at the same time which I had to take back because the progression lens was admittedly by a staff member ( who was so rude) put in the wrong spot. She said she'd rush the order to come back which took another 3 weeks, so not rushed. Between work and life I wasn't able to get back in with in the 3month time frame to have my eyes looked at again. When I told the staff, and texted I was not told I had to come right back. This has been nothing but a frustrating process. I should be able to see the small font on pill bottles, my phone and other things. I tried dealing with it but after trying for the last month this is wrong to me. This is not 20/20 vision like I was led to believe. Now they want charge me for another exam.
