She brings confidence and great communication to the experience.\nHowever, as great as the initial greeting and actual exam were, they were topped by the experience I had in choosing frames and the lense fitting. Cool, I paid, not a big deal.\n\nIt has now been almost two weeks with no communication from the staff. I have called and left a message with no return call. When I finally got ahold of someone today, I was told oops, sorry. They scratched the lenses and had to re-make them. It will be another week but maybe they can put a rush on it. I understand that things happen but this whole process with this staff has been just outright insane and rough. I really hope they can be more proactive in contacting future customers. First off with the exam portion of visit which is completely separated from pearle vision. Was told that because I had diabetes they needed to run the visit through my regular insurance and not through my eyemed insurance because the diabetes related exams were not covered by eyemed. They then tell me its usually cheaper going through the regular insurance anyway. Well, using my eyemed insurance the copay would've been $20, it ended up being $90 using my regular insurance. What a scam, disrespectful, unprofessional, and bait and switch like behavior. Had they told me this before I would've told them I did not need or wanted the diabetes related exams because 1; i had it done through previous year and 2; my type 2 diabetes has been controlled for years with a a1c of 5.1.\nThen I go to the pearle vision side of it to pick out new glasses. Right off the bat they go for the most expensive options. Despite my attempts to dig a little deeper as to why so expensive, the lady helping me was very cardealerhip like vibes, would not show me screen or print me out what she was looking at and selecting so that I could see. A lot of the added options when getting glasses have tiers like the scratch resistance, the level of anti reflective, blue light protection etc. She would not go into detail as to what she was clicking on or adding. Kept saying there were only two options the cheaper option and the higher priced one but I was never able to see a print out of the details. After probably an hour it went from almost $400 to $180 and I had to keep telling here I did not care to pay for the hieghest tier of anything. And no it was not the frames, my eyemed insurance covered $130 of frame and the frames i chose were $137. So only $7 was the difference i owed on the frames after the insurance. Even tho I felt $180 was still high i didn't want the 2 hours I had been there to be a complete waste so I ended up making the purchase.
