I stopped by Pearle Vision in Somerville for a quick adjustment on my glasses, and I had an outstanding experience with Daiane, the store manager. She was incredibly helpful and knew exactly how to fix my Silhouette frames. I had been struggling with these glasses ever since I purchased them at a different location over a year ago. No one had been able to get them quite right until now. After Daiane's adjustment, they feel like a brand-new pair of glasses! It's rare to find someone with such expertise and excellent customer service. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire appointment. It’s rare to find a team that makes you feel this valued as a customer. I had such a wonderful experience at Pearle Vision in Somerville. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. The doctor was honest and thoughtful, letting me know I did not need another exam because my previous prescription was still available and directed me to call my other doctors office to get the prescription, which saved me time, money, and effort. The front desk team was amazing as well. They took the time to explain my insurance coverage, helped with my measurements, and made the entire process easy and stress-free. Even though I drove a bit to get there, they went above and beyond to help resolve my issue and made me feel very well taken care of. This was honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had for glasses or eye care. The Somerville location has a truly wonderful team, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. A+

Dr. Alex Russakovsky is an outstanding optometrist—thorough, compassionate, and incredibly knowledgeable. He takes the time to truly listen and make you feel cared for. I went in feeling anxious after seeing what looked like a black curtain in my vision, fearing it could be a detached retina. (Dont ever google or use AI for your symptoms... you'll have anxiety for days/weeks. Just go see the doctor lol) Dr. Alex immediately understood the urgency, performed multiple detailed tests, and explained everything clearly. Thankfully, it was not a retinal detachment but harmless random floaters. He also diagnosed me with blepharitis prior, something I hadn't realized was contributing to my eye issues, and recommended simple steps like taking fish oil and using Avenova spray to help manage it. His attention to detail and ability to explain conditions in a way that made sense really put me at ease. The office staff is just as wonderful. The eyeglass team is warm, friendly, and patient. I normally get polycarbonate lens but they recommended I get high index, which I'm excited for because it is thinner and better. Can't wait to pick up my Tiffany glasses soon! I highly recommend Dr. Alex and this office to anyone seeking exceptional eye care.

Dr. Alex has taken great care of my eyes for many years. He is very knowledgeable and caring, which is a special combination. I trust him so much as a medical professional, I wish I could come to him with non-optometry questions!

I’ve been coming to this location for over 20 years, and I can honestly say the staff and manager are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I was surprised by a recent negative review because my experience has always been the complete opposite. Everyone here is always willing to help, the prices are very reasonable, and the doctors are incredibly personable and knowledgeable. That’s why I keep coming back and why I trust them with my entire family’s care. Highly recommend!

Hi All!! I have gotten my glasses hear for years and I don't even live in the area! Yesterday I walked in for a new pair because I had broken mine and my spare had a 10 year old prescription. My Benefits for my insurance had maxed out for the year and Diane was super friendly and helpful to help me get an affordable pair I could get by with until I could get the pair I wanted. I then asked if it was possible to get same day glasses...and she agreed with a smile on her face! Super friendly, super helpful, not to mention great product selection. Thanks for the great service! :)

My best friend told me about this place a few years ago. I was in need of some new frames, and I am so glad I made the appointment here. They are easy to schedule with. The staff was professional and kind and the store manager Daiane was great! She explained my prescription to me very thoroughly and took her time and helped me pick out several frames until I decided on the one I purchased . My Insurance covered everything except for my co-pay and anti-glare coating . Great deal and I had my glasses in just a hour . I will return next year.
