Pearle Vision Maplewood

I saw Dr. Derek Wu and was VERY impressed. He is very knowledgeable and explained lots of things to me about my vision. He explained things in a way I could understand. I will come to see him again next year. I also liked the technician Trent who help with my initial measurements. And I was happy with Sheryl, who helped me order my glasses. While I was with the Dr, she researched my insurance and let me know how much my glasses would cost. I highly recommend this place to get your vision checked and buy glasses.

From checking in at the front desk to the lovely Asian lady who expertly checked my eye pressure, I was truly impressed - my eye wasn't subjected to repeated puffs of air as in previous visits. Dr. Jeanny Wu was exceptional, embodying respect and punctuality as she arrived precisely on time for our appointment, even offering apologies for any perceived wait. She not only reassured me about my eye health but also ensured my prescription was perfectly corrected, fostering a deep trust. Tosh, your dedication to finding the ideal glasses that suit me was remarkable, going above and beyond to secure the best deal and style. Dr Sarah Watson is wonderful. Professional, caring & kind. She explained everything regarding my vision needs thoroughly which made my eye exam stress free. In addition Anna went out of her way to make sure my order was accurate. Great service from both of these amazing women!

Switched over to Pearle Vision because I used to go to Saint Paul eye and never had any other medical issues. I always got glasses here but never exams. Dr. Sarah was nice and very informative about the exam. It was quick and easy. I was out of there pretty quickly. Customer service is nice as well.

I had a great experience getting an eye exam for myself and my two kids. Dr. Sarah Watson was wonderful, explaining all the tests and making everyone comfortable. Tosh helped us with frames, and she was so helpful with the kids and helped walk us through all the options and what was covered by insurance.

Dr. Nathan Haverkamp is very nice and professional. He took care of me and I got my exam done easily. The workers are all wonderful and helpful. I'm so glad I came here instead of America's Best nearby Ross. Also if you get lost looking for the place, it's on the bottom floor pass the carousel walking towards hot topic and turning left to go to JCPenny. It'll be on the right side.

Came in today for my daughter's first eye appointment and your whole team is the best! We got Taush (had a broken leg) and she was so kind! The doctor too was so kind and patient with my daughter. I used to go to the pearle vision on lake street BUT not anymore! Thanks again!

I don’t usually write reviews, but this time, I just had to. I wanted to let the staff know how much I appreciate their kindness and professionalism. Dr. Haverkamp listens and takes the time to explain things about my eyes. Sheryl was helpful in finding a pair of glasses and had a lot of fun doing it. Thank you, Randy Lindstrom

Had an appt with Dr Derek Wu on 12/12/25, he is great. I got hooked up with Trevor to pick out new glasses. He helped me pick out frames and spent quality time with me and explained everything so well. Picked up my new sunglasses on 1/2/26 any they are great!

So I hadn't been to the eye doctor in a while, but had a concern about my left eye and called Pearle Vision in the Maplewood Mall. This is the the location we *me and my son* always go to. We have been going to this location for years. Anyway...I had a concern, and they got me in to see a doctor the same day. The doctor really put me at ease and everything was fine. I needed an updated eye glass prescription. They had a lot of nice frames to choose from. I found a pair I really liked and the associate helped me order the frame and the transition lenses with more fun options. The associate was very kind and helpful. Prices were decent. Overall I was very happy with my experience. Just waiting for my new glasses to come in. It does take about 3 weeks though.
