We are very disappointed with our experience at Pearle Vision. We have an EyeMed vision plan which comes fromPearls parent
company Luxottica. We were upsold on add-ons like scratch-resistant and anti-fog coatings etc. We purchased our glasses in March 2026, and within just two months the lenses already had noticeable scratches. My husband only uses his glasses for reading, and they are either on his head, hanging from his collar, or stored safely — they have not been abused in any way.
When we went back to the store, we were told the scratch resistant is “just the coating” and that we should have purchased an additional protection plan. That response makes no sense. If we already paid extra for scratch-resistant lenses, they should last longer than two months under normal use.
Between the upselling and the poor quality, we will not be returning to Pearle Vision and would not recommend purchasing glasses there.

I ordered my lenses over four weeks ago and was originally quoted a turnaround time of one to two weeks. Once that timeframe passed, I called the store and was told they would arrive in a couple of days. Another week went by, and I was given the same response. A few more days passed, and still no lenses.
I then contacted Pearle Vision customer service and filed a complaint, which was sent to the store manager. I was told I would receive a call within five days, but that deadline also passed before I was finally contacted.
Unfortunately, the call with the store manager only added to my frustration. There was no accountability for the complete lack of communication from the store, even though I repeatedly had to call for updates and was consistently given inaccurate information. Instead, the blame was placed entirely on the lab, and I was offered a $25 coupon for a future visit.
When I explained how dissatisfied I was with the handling of my order and the poor customer service I received, my concerns seemed to be brushed aside. Delays can happen, but the lack of honesty, communication, and accountability is unacceptable. The way this situation was handled reflects very poorly on how this store values and treats its customers.

I had a horrible experience at this particular Pearl Vision location. I had to come back four times and the glasses still were not right. I could not see to read. They ordered glasses that i was pressured into just for them to order something they Did Not Have. That’s right…you read that correctly. They ordered glasses for me that they did not have. Got my money back and still can’t see( they were not happy about the refund) and then told me, in the most condescending tone ever, to have a good day! i told them to have a GRAND day!

Avoid this place at all costs. They made my glasses wrong about 6 times (2 of those came with scratched lenses, the others the prescription was off and then they tried to gaslight me, making me think the vision issues were all in my head). Had to go in for an adjustment and they blew me off, saying people were ahead of me (they weren’t, they were still paying, giving them plenty of time to do a 2 min adjustment for me)…something about this area of Cincinnati- people are snobby for no good reason and this place is the epitome of that. Pearle should have died in the 80s when it was popular. Stick to Costco, Target, or LensCrafters!

Just had the greatest experience at Voice of America Pearle vision. The staff at this location is phenomenal. They offer High end frames such as Jimmy Choo , Coach, Versace, Prada and Michael Kors . I would say Frames for Women start at around 120 and go up from there. They had deals today buy one get 2nd 50 percent off. :)

My family of 4 have all gotten exams, glasses and/or contacts from this location and have zero complaints. I think the staff is wonderful. They've always been able to answer all of our questions and make sure we're fully taken care of before we leave. We will continue to go for all of our vision needs. Thank you! Great job.
