Dr. Elledge is thorough, incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to address and explain all of your concerns. While waiting, his entire staff helped me find the right style of glasses and were so supportive in the process. Overall so impressed with Pearce Vision and the services they provide! Dr. Wells was very professional and caring. I had an exam, and then purchased two pairs of glasses (lens & frames). Jorge sat with me and went through all my options for cost and payments, including EyeMed insurance. He was very helpful and a definite plus for this office. He was pleasant and a great communicator. Give him a raise! My only misgiving after I picked up my glasses, was that I was never offered any kind of discount. On the webpage for this office, I see two 40% discounts for lens and extra pair of glasses. For some reason I was not infomred of this. Thank you!

I had an outstanding experience at Pearl Vision From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and treated with genuine care and professionalism. I had been looking for a quality provider who accepted my Tricare insurance and Im so happy I came here, especially since I was able to gwt a same day appointment after experiencing some new eye strain issues. The entire staff is not only highly knowledgeable, but also personable, making the whole process comfortable and stress-free. The techs, staff and doctor took the time to thoroughly explain my exam results and answer all my questions, never making me feel rushed. Their attention to detail and commitment to personalized care really stood out. The selection of eyewear is excellent, with a wide range of high-quality frames and lenses to fit every style and need imaginable. The staff was incredibly helpful in guiding me toward the best options, ensuring both functionality and style. Overall, the service, products, and professionalism at Pearl Vision are exceptional. I hghly recommend them to anyone seeking top-tier eye care delivered with kindness and expertise.

Dr. Elledge is amazing! He took the time to listen to my mother-in-law’s needs, as other optometrists had not. I have used him myself in the past as well. He’s very thorough and knowledgeable. Let me tell you, I just picked up my prescription progressive transition glasses and when I tell you they got it right the first time, honey believe me I am so excited and pleased. I’ll shorten this post to: Excellent thorough service from beginning to end. Attentive* and they have longer hours compared to most for Your convenience. As long as they’re here I will continue to be a Pearl Vision Bulverde Rd patron/client. Great job everyone oh and I love how they all seem to communicate and work as a team.

Very nice place. I had my exam done by Dr.Wells. Super nice and knowledgeable woman. I had forgot my wallet but they were still able to look my info and insurance up and take care of me while me having to come back. I recommend 100%, staff had great customer service as well

Never coming back. Firstly, I spoke to a very rude receptionist. Then during my exam, the female Dr. seemed confused when trying to find my prescription, and asked me to show her my previous prescription for confirmation. After I showed her she magically got my prescription mostly right. The glasses give me serious headaches but whatever I’ll keep wearing my contacts. Then she tried to upsell me on dilation that was instant but conveniently $50 more, trying to make the other option seem like it would take forever and I’d be impaired( I drove to my apt yet I might not be able to drive after for 2-4 hrs?!) so I declined, and she was making me feel bad. I didn’t trust her at that point that’s why I just wanted to leave. Then upon walking me up, she just left me there. As someone in healthcare she has very poor bedside manner. I could go on and on but long story short, won’t go back. But the guy who helped with picking the glasses was cool.

I had a great experience at Pearle Vision. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The prices were very reasonable as well. I highly recommend them to anyone who’s in the market for an eye exam, contacts and glasses. Definitely coming back.
