I provided them with my Vision Insurance, paid for the glasses and the tests that insurance would not cover. They keep sending me a copayment medical bill for $40. Spoke with them and told them it was an eye exam that was covered by Davis Vision. Was told that the doctor did an Medical Exam in case there were future medical problems, which was why my medical insurance was billed and I owed a $40 copayment. Was told they would look into it 2 months ago but still getting bills. Today, I called Davis Vision after checking my account online. Pearle Vision DID NOT SUBMIT ANY CLAIM TO MY VISION INSURANCE. I was told that had they done so, my copay would be $10. So I probably got overcharged for my glasses, which would have been free through my vision insurance, plus they filed claims with Medicare and my secondary medical insurance! DON\"T GIVE THEM ANY MEDICAL INSURANCE INFORMATION! I have called Pearle several times and always get the voice mail to leave a message and someone will call back. Hasn't happened so about to file a claim with the Colorado Board of Insurance.\n\nFOLLOW UP: Someone finally called me back after numerous messages. I was told that \"it was cheaper to file with health insurance instead of Vision so they did and were paid\" so there was nothing they could do about it now. I again said I did not authorize anything \"medical\" to be done and was not told my medical insurance would be charged. The person condescendingly told me the doctor would have explained all of that but I \"probably just didn't understand it\".
