Dr. Blanc strongly recommended that she see an eye surgeon as soon as possible to address this issue.\n\nHowever, despite the clear recommendation for surgery, the Perle Vision team proceeded to sell my mother a pair of bifocals for $698. These glasses were not only unnecessary, but they are also ineffective due to her cataracts, which were known to the team at the time of the sale. Selling her these glasses—when it was clear she needed cataract surgery first—was not only irresponsible, but dishonest.\n\nAs you are well aware, bifocals are not an appropriate solution for someone with cataracts, and these glasses do not help her vision. This is a blatant example of taking advantage of a vulnerable, elderly individual who relies on others to act in her best interest.\n\nI am requesting a full refund of the $698 she was charged for these bifocals, as they serve no purpose and were sold under false pretenses.
