Everyone brushed us off, but a gentleman here (I believe his name was Ed) and other staff took so much time going through all their frames to see if any would fit his very thick lenses. Unfortunately we weren't able to find any. We ordered his frames online (they had been discontinued) and went to several places again (including the place we originally ordered the glasses) to see if someone could put the lenses in, but no one could. We went back again to Pearle Vision and Ed was able to get lenses put back in in under a minute! That’s the only reason this isn’t a 1-star review.\n\nUnfortunately, everything else was frustrating. The assistant who did the pre-exam testing was not pleasant, and the overall experience felt rushed and impersonal.\n\nMore concerning was the billing. We were charged for a full contact lens fitting, even though my son already wears contacts and only needed an updated prescription. To add, our normal eye doctor never charges that fee. That felt unnecessary and like an easy way to add extra charges.\n\nThe pricing for contacts was shocking. We were quoted over $850 for a year supply after insurance. For comparison, the exact same contacts were about $450 at Sam’s Club (with insurance) and $417 through 1-800 Contacts without using insurance at all.\n\nThat kind of markup is hard to justify.\n\nBetween the questionable billing and inflated pricing, I would not return.
