The coated for computers was only supposed to be $12. When I went to pay my total was $288. I asked why and that she go over everything. She got to that coting and it was over 150. I told her to take it off. I cannot afford that and it wasn't what I was quoted over the phone. Low and behold she redid it and my total dropped from $288 to $137. If that isn't trying to rip someone off I don't know what is. I can honestly say that once I pick these glasses up. I will find a new place to get them going forward. If I hadn't called and verified before hand I would have paid that and been ripped off. Who takes 18 days to get glasses ready. They did tell me 3 weeks and my response was it has never taken that long before. Especially considering a lot of doctors we have been too seem to be bothered by a child that is hesitant and a bit rambunctious. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with nothing but kindness and respect. Any question I had was answered right then and there. I never felt anything was “hidden” in the sense of cost. Even when my son was trying on the different glasses, everyone stopped and spoke to him for a moment regardless of what they were in the middle of doing. The absolute BEST part was Caley (sorry if I spelled her name wrong)! She is the one who helped complete his eye exam and I have never experienced someone so patient, kind, and calm. As I stated before … it’s been very difficult trying to find a doctor of any kind who is this way when it comes to my son cause he can be pretty rambunctious and wild 😅 She went through the exam with him in the upmost professional yet playful and fun way to where he had no anxiety what so ever! My son had probably a thousand questions about the equipment she was using to do the exam and she answered them with patience. Just an absolutely amazing experience overall. I couldn’t thank her enough and I truly hope her boss reads this and gives her a bonus or a raise. All of her employees were very nice and helpful. The exam ended up going ok but I was never asked why I was there, why I wanted to get my eyes checked and what line of work I was in in case I needed anything specific for me.
