This place really stands out when it comes to your typical eye exam experience. From the moment I called in to set up an appointment, to the moment I checked out and left their location - I felt truly cared about. When I walked in, I was given a friendly greeting and explanation on everything by Diane. Dr. Demmers was also the friendliest eye doctor I've ever had the experience of working with, you can tell he really cares about people, and giving people a good experience. He was empathetic about my current situation of being unemployed, and even shared his own personal story of being laid off. He also graciously tightened my glasses for me without me even asking. Diane then was kind enough to find any discounts she could for me for my contacts, and was patient with me when the prices were too high. I went in to have bifocals included in glasses I'd purchased in 2020 from Pearle vision, well the young man helping me consulted with Daniel prieto who comes over to me and ask whats going on today which I explained to him again and also had rescheduled my appointment the day before and spoke to a young lady and confirmed my exam would be free. He turned to young lady and ask her of she stated over the phone to me the exam would be free which the switched to talking in a different language and he stated since I was paying cash and not with insurance this promotion does not apply to me the consumer I stated I have Medicaid as well but not sure what insurer under that would assist with covering cost of eye exam. I am very upset behind this logic because I was about to spend well over $100 on bifocals.
