I brought in my frames to have prescription lenses made. They told me it would take 2–3 weeks, which I thought was extreme, but I agreed.\n\nFive days later, they contacted me to say they couldn’t add transitions. Fine, I accepted that. Then after 3.5 weeks, they reached out again saying the lenses failed inspection and it would take another 10 days.\n\nNever in my life has it taken more than three days to have lenses made. There was no apology, no sense of urgency, and not even when I went in to pick up my frames and request a refund.\n\nYou’d be making a huge mistake trusting their services. I decided to give them a try, per Dr recommendations. When my new glasses arrived and I tried them on at the store, they were blurrier than usual. I told the employee this, she said I have to “learn to use them”. I left with them, however driving home with blurry vision, I got pulled over for improper lane usage, the officer only gave me a warning. I started to get terrible headaches, eye strain and nausea/dizziness, even when I took the glasses off. My Depth perception was altered. Finally after going in person and complaining, an employee measures the prescription with almost TWICE the prescription strength. To compensate for their ineptitude, They offered me another pair of progressive frames, a pair of regular single vision frames, and couple of boxes of contacts. I feel neglected and disregarded when Pearle Vision dismissed my complaints saying “you’ll get used to it” and not believing me when I said “YOU GAVE ME THE WRONG Rx!” I’m still suffering eye strain and headaches because my eyes are still adjusting, and I still don’t have glasses after 3 weeks. When I finished my exam, I overheard him talking with another patient while I was out in the lobby. Regardless if he knows you or not, he treats each patient with the utmost respect. He was talking to that patient exactly the same way he would talk to his friend. That says a lot to me. He wants to take the time to make sure that he does what is best for you, and your eyes. This was also my first time going to see Dr. Sheladia for an eye exam. It was by far the most comprehensive eye exam I ever had. The technology he uses was light years ahead of what I had been accustomed to before. I walked out of his office thinking, wow, I wish I had this type of exam every year.
