We ordered contacts for my son and were at his contact class so he could learn how to put them in. I had asked if I could bring the contacts home to help him and so he could practice. I was told no, I asked if there was a policy. They said no, it’s state law. I asked if they could show me the law and the manager provided me with a AI generated Google search. I asked again, is there a policy that states I cannot take the contacts which I had already paid for home. She said they did not have one. I then asked for a copy of his prescription, she said she was refunding me. I said I didn’t ask for a refund, I asked for a copy of his prescription. She said the owner said I should be refunded and that my son could no longer be a patient there. The owner didn’t like my question and couldn’t show proof of a policy. So instead she punished an 8 yr old who now can’t see because he doesn’t have his contacts. The customer service at this site is abysmal. I asked to speak with the owner before we left and was told I couldn’t. But thier doctors are not all that. And what annoys me the most is the checkout process that takes forever. They take forever to give you your prescription and tell you what you need to pay! Also thier glasses are expensive and they force you to add extra stuff on the lenses so they can take as much as they can after the insurance coverage.\nI used to get glasses from somewhere else without needing to pay any extra after the insurance coverage.
