Thought no matter as I could see well enough and scheduled this year again as it was the only location with appointments on the day I needed. My visit from this year, however, when I had the initial screen I could not see any of the letters. Dr. Patel seemed confused and tried to have me list off what I could see. Eventually we got to some I could see, but the times I couldn't see the letters -at all-, I was told to guess. In all my exams in the last 30+ years, I've never been told to guess. Prescription didn't end up getting changed much, if any, so obviously I had already decided I will never be returning to this location. What made me want to warn others, though, is my visit to the DMV where I nearly failed my eye exam. Only saved by wearing my very old prescription contact in 1 eye (as I had lost that contact). While I like my vision 20/10 or 20/15, the contact with what Dr. Patel came up with was not even 20/20. It's 20/40 at best. Got call from Linda and was told that the frame we originally had ordered had a wrong label due to which wrong frame was ordered. Not sure how this is possible as the price difference between 2 frames was over $100.00. Guess they like to give stuff for free. Anyway since i did not have any other choice but to accept the situation again so i said ok. This time Linda did say that they have put in express services and glasses should be ready in a week. It has been over week and half and still no glasses. Call the store today to speak to Linda we are told she is on vacation for over week and the person who is helping just came back from Vacation and does not know what the situation is with my glasses. Not sure where to go. I wish there was a system where this stores only get paid by insurance companies only after customers get their glasses. This way in cases like me i can cancel order go to their competitor and still get my glasses done instead of having to pay full price.\n\nUpdate as of June 21st.\nGot a voicemail from pearl vision stating that they have called the lab and will take additional 5 days for my wife to get the glasses. Hearing that i called the atore back to confirm if that is guaranteed or not since same was told by linda about week and half ago. As usual again i am being told that they should arrive instead of will arrive. When i asked the store manager to put herself into my situation, She did not any answer other than sorry. Again at this point no other option but to wait. I paid $96 for some nice Columbia frames, lenses and tax. I didnt need progressive lenses. The poor customer service at Pearle allowed me to become a new customer at Visionworks and save some dinero.
