I was told that sometimes the Dr. runs behind and at that time I asked to be notified if that occurred . When I arrived early I was seen almost immediately by the tech that does the eye screenings and asked to wait .. I’d asked how long did they think it would be and they advised “we don’t know, she has two medicals in there” (whatever that means) ….I was not seen for another 36 minutes which literally left less and a half hour to get an eye exam & pick frames. If I’d been told that a full appt could not have been accommodated in an hour then I would not have made that appt at that time . All week leading up to the appointment I received multiple messages reminding me of my appt and even the female tech advised they knew she’d run behind just about 20 mins before . Hmm I wonder if I’d been late if that’d be ok or if I’d been cancelled !!?? I have no respect for businesses that make people wait … even if I didn’t have time constraints it still is not fair to have people sitting and waiting. Safe to say I won’t be back to pick out frames. I was able to get a next day appointment and didn’t wait long once I arrived. Dr. Warfield-Ziegert took the time to thoroughly answer my questions and I felt like she really cared about my vision and eye health. The front desk was really helpful with ordering contacts and using my student insurance vision discount. However, I didn’t feel pressured to order contacts or glasses from them. After making the appointment on 8/6, I have received an email on the 8th, 9th,10th all asking for confirmation in addition to text messages asking for for confirmation on the 8th, 9th, and 11th. This is way too much for an appointment made on 8/6 for 8/12 and the last text didn't understand the response so who knows if I actually have an exam scheduled.
