Pearle Vision Dedham

This place overly charges for glasses. The same exact frame I bought here were half the price elsewhere. I had insurance which should have covered most of the purchase, I ended up paying over $300 for a single prescription glasses. I can also understand some of the negative reviews here, there’s just something off about this place and the guy with long hair seems a bit shady. Felt like he was rushing and just wanted a quick money grab talking me into getting the most expensive frames (which by the way is not worth what they price the frame for) they literally price all their frames double of what they are actually worth. A quick google search of the model frames they sell here will give you the real price. The only reason I gave a two star is because I got my prescription glasses within 20 minutes after walking in. If not I would have give it a 1 star for price gouging and poor customer care. I will not be returning here. I’ll go elsewhere for my prescription glasses.

Had a routine eye exam and contact fitting with Dr. Wu. Dr Wu was knowledgeable, eager to answer all of my questions and provided plenty of suggestions. I left with a new prescriptions and contact brand best suited for my condition. She gave me a two week trial before committing to the new prescription. So far she’s one of the best medical professionals I’ve come in contact with. I’m supper satisfied with the results and have recommended my family members to her. Also, the front end staff are supper accommodating as well. I was running late so they moved up my appointment.

After much research the only place that could help us get glasses on the same day was Pearle Vision Dedham at 300 providence highway. We met Romeo who offered us a buy one get one free deal for a total of $500 for two spectacles one for long vision with glare prevention and the other for reading. He appeared to be very competent in fitting the glasses and doing all the different measurements. He quoted us one and a half hours to do the work and yet he sent us a message in less than an hour. He's very experienced, he told us he had 33 years experience and he was very good about telling us the options that were open to us. This happened on the Saturday afternoon after the new year when everyone was very busy. The shop is behind Lowe's in Dedham and it's well worth the trip.

Just wanted to make two pairs of glasses the guy didn't say hi/hello, I explained him what I want he was very busy with his phone and said "it will take three weeks " just this words, Happened 25 minutes ago.

I am a long-time patient of Dr. Wu, who used to be in Brookline and is now here at this store. She is absolutely amazing. She took exceptional care to analyze and discuss the options (which in my case is complicated), gave excellent tips on maintaining eye health, and is just such a down-to-earth, intelligent and caring person. I feel very lucky to have her as my eye doctor! And the store was fine- everyone was pleasant and informative in setting up my appt.

Using the bathroom in the store (At Home) was not an option due to my dad being 94 years old and not being able to walk long distances. These people are heartless and lack compassion. and should be out of business. Stay away from this store and go to another Eye place all together.

1 based on reviews and my brief experience. I just went there to ask a simple question and yes! I immediately sensed the bad vibe, poor customer service and unprofessionalism, from both of them. I've worked in an optical for years... I can tell right away what's going in there...

Absolutely horrible people. Refused to help us because our kids were previously in foster care and they didn't want to bother with the insurance. The response by the business posted below is a lie. They did not offer to help with our new order they were only willing to fulfill the old order which they are required to do. Instead of lying, it would have been preferred for the merchant to say that they no longer take Mass Health.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. BEST TO GO TO WALMART OR BJS IF YOURE IN A BIND. THE DOCTOR NO SHOWED. THE LADY ATTENDING ME WAS BLAMING ME FOR COMING 15 MINS EARLY AS IF THE WEBSITE CLEARLY SAYS TO DO SO. I WAS RESPECTFUL SHE TALKED DOWN TO ME AS IF MY BUSINESS DIDNT MATTER.

Very happy with every interaction with this shop. Had an easy time scheduling an eye exam, all was simple and flexible. Eye exam itself was thorough and delivered me an accurate prescription and great sense of my health and what works best. From there I used Romeo to select glasses. He was patient and gave great advice on what would look best / work with my lenses. He made clear options for what will be comfortable and suit my needs. We even picked out prescription sunglasses! Easy process look my best and see clearly. My highest praises.
