I was told the problem was my astigmatism. I don’t have an unusually bad prescription. I was offered glasses that were the wrong prescription to wear in the meantime. I decided that Pearle was not a reliable company for me and got a refund. Our eye exams were quick and easy, using technology that we'd never experienced before that left us both with a better understanding of our eye health and how it changes over time (and no need for dilation!). They have a great selection of frames and have developed ways to allow you to try on as many as you like without risking anyone's health during the pandemic, and without any pressure to buy if you don't find some you like. It was easy to make an appointment on the Pearle Vision website, and they called ahead of time to find out about our insurance coverage so they could explain our benefits to us when we arrived, which they did a really great job of. Best of all, every single person in the store was BEYOND lovely--they went above and beyond to make sure we understood everything, had all of our needs met, and had a more-than-pleasant experience at the store. They even immediately fixed up both of the older pairs of glasses I'd brought in and was considering replacing so they would be more comfortable for me in the mean time.
