I arrived six minutes late to my appointment due to traffic caused by a car accident (and called to let them know I was stuck behind an accident). I completely understand that businesses need to keep to their schedules, but being turned away after such a short delay felt a bit unsympathetic, especially after driving across town, arranging childcare, and taking time off work. It also gave the impression that there may be some disorganization in how appointments are managed.\n\nToday ended up being a wake-up call for me to find a new eye doctor. Over time, I’ve also occasionally felt that staff weren’t fully familiar with the products, which I recognize can happen with frequent staff turnover. Last year when I ordered glasses, one of the lenses had the wrong prescription. Went to pick up my new glasses recently and lucky me, one of the lenses has the wrong prescription once again. I was told I'd receive a call once the person discussed with the manager about a discount. No one has called yet! Pretty discouraged with Pearle Vision and the lab they use! When I tried my glasses on, it was suggested I bring them home and \"let my eyes adjust to them for a week or so\".
