Despite that, the doctor prescribed a different brand without explanation, apparently because the office does not carry my current lenses.\n\nWhat was particularly concerning was that the doctor was unfamiliar with Warby Parker, which is a well-known eyewear provider. That lack of awareness did not inspire confidence.\n\nWhen I requested an updated prescription for the brand I’ve consistently used, the office refused to provide it. Instead of addressing my questions directly over email, they took two weeks to follow up by phone, and then suggested I schedule a second appointment — which would have required another copay — just to resolve an issue that should have been handled during the original visit.\n\nOverall, the experience felt dismissive, poorly communicated, and unnecessarily complicated.
