Pearle Vision Williamsville

This was my first visit to Pearle Vision, and it will definitely be my last. I paid extra for the more in-depth eye exam, got my prescription, and ordered new glasses. Two weeks later they arrived, only for me to find out Pearle Vision had given me the wrong prescription. I had to drive back, confirm their mistake, contact the glasses company, and send my brand-new glasses back. Now I won’t have them in time for the Fourth of July because of their error. The doctor eventually called, but he couldn’t have seemed less interested. His solution? Offer to cover my $8 shipping fee and “maybe” discount a pair of glasses from Pearle Vision. Meanwhile, I’m still sitting here with no glasses and no real solution from them for a mistake they made. Mistakes happen, but taking almost no accountability and leaving a customer without glasses is unacceptable. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that actually stands behind their work.

I ran into an unfortunate situation where I was traveling in Buffalo from out of town and forgot to pack my glasses and contacts! They got me samples to hold me over free of charge. My trip would have been extremely stressful if not for the kindness of everyone in this office. Thank you so much!

I absolutely loved all my experiences with Pearle Vision. The staff at the front desk, the doctor and the folks that help with fitting glasses. Everyone is helpful, and always so nice to talk too. If I need an adjustment they always help me even if it’s busy! I went here because I was new to Buffalo but I stay going here because they make the experience so great! A+++++ service! Plus their selection of glasses is awesome and I find my perfect pair every time!

Update 01/20/2024 ; had yearly eye exam today; very thorough, very professional, doctor takes the time to answer all my questions, he's very informative also. Their selection of frames is extensive and for all budgets. Staff is always courteous, patient with me as I try on numerous frames; I never feel rushed . It's always a very positive experience! July 5, 2025 I went to Pearle Vision on Main and Transit to pick out 2 new pair of eyeglasses. Mary assisted me and was tremendously helpful. She listened to the kind of frames I was looking for (bold tortoiseshell), picked some for me to try, and was very honest about the frames she felt were not the best fit for my face. I really appreciate staff that give you an honest opinion about which frames look good on you, and which ones don't. Mary is professional, courteous, funny, and knows her stuff. Thank you Mary for making my eyeglass purchase smooth and easy! February 14, 2026 at Pearle for my yearly eye exam. Again with Dr. Peter who is excellent. Then Mary who helps me pick the perfect new frames and never steers me wrong. She always lets me know which frames compliment my face and which ones do not. I really appreciate that.

LOVE Mary. My family and I have been working with her for years. She is so awesome and I'm always so excited to see her and catch up. She also is awesome at fixing my glasses just right and helping me make a smart decision when it comes to picking glasses that fit my needs and looks great on me. Thank you! :)

The Doctors are nice but the girl at the front desk always have an attitude, she shouldn’t be the first point of contact.
