The wait time wasn’t too bad and the sign in process for new patients was seamless and hassle free using their tablet to take photos of my license and insurance card Etc. My only major complaint is certain insurance only covers their in house brand (frames) which has little to no choices that look good on me. So if you have CareSource be prepared to settle for the ugly frames. If you have UHC you can pick any frame you like except for Prada. That’s not Pearle Vision’s fault but was an aggravating experience nonetheless and worth mentioning so future customers are aware. I would recommend them to everyone and I will be attending annually from now on. The initial scheduling was alright but when I called to follow up with my child’s insurance number and the reaction was dry and as if I shouldn’t have called in like asked it was very uncomfortable but ok I even offered to email it in so they have it on file. My son and his father came to their appointment and sat for over 20 minutes no one greeted them or came to say we will be with you in a moment NOTHING and GUESS WHAT!!! There has yet to be a call to ask what happened or anything to follow up. We’re very disgusted and disappointed with the treatment and communication along with the customer service. This year will be my last. In my check in paperwork I indicated that I declined the eye imaging and they still did it. In addition they decided on their own to bill my medical insurance instead of my vision insurance (all Aetna). Which resulted in a charge for a specialist visit at $45 rather than the normal $10 copay for my vision insurance. The doctor was nice and did explain things well but the office should have followed the things I had in my paperwork. I did say yes to another scan but it was only supposed to be $11.
