I recommend going to Pearle vision near Jungle Jim’s. The staff was amazing and she gave me a completely different price and option than this little girl did. My longtime eye doctor had suddenly retired and I had eye irritation and needed to get in somewhere as soon as possible. Making an appointment here was the only easy step in my experience with this business. My first appointment I waited in standing room only for over two hours to be seen. When I was seen, I felt like the doctor gave me steroid drops but didn’t really explain what might be wrong or side effects of raised eye pressure from these drops. She casually said it as I was about to leave. I had asked if I should wait to get glasses or contacts due to irritation and she said no because it wasn’t impacting my vision. I ordered glasses, which ended up being the most expensive pair I have purchased in my 41 years of wearing glasses. No one ever called to tell me my glasses were ready and when I called and came to get them, my husband and I both thought these couldn’t possibly be the glasses I ordered due to a cheap looking gold with fake diamonds on the temple side bars. This has never been my style or something I would willingly pay for and wear. I paid more money to have the frames switched out. It also turns out that the contact portion of my eye exam wasn’t completed and I would need to pay more and schedule another visit to get this done. Now, I am still waiting on these expensive glasses with no clear answer when or if they will ever arrive. I expect an answer and it is my right to request and receive my prescription so I may use it elsewhere. Let’s resolve this and I’ll gladly remove this review.
