In the conversation around these with the optometrist and optician, it was mentioned to me multiple times that if I chose the progressive lenses and didn't like them \"just bring them back\". I decided to go with the progressives, and after getting them, quickly realized they are not for me. I called to see what the process is like to bring them back, they said just bring them in and we'll figure it out. Brought them in and let them know I want to go back to single vision lenses and the first thing that the optician says is \"we can do that but we won't dispense any money back\". So upon more questions and digging, realizing I paid $175 copay for the progressives, and the single lenses would have been at no cost (I used my own frames). So that difference she told me over and over they would not give me back. I got the run around .. call my insurance see what they can do, \"the lab won't give them money back\", etc. I left, called my insurance, who as I expected, told me there's nothing they can do. I've called back now twice, spoke with the optician and her manager. Both are telling me they don't give refunds, however, have both acknowledged that the no refund policy should have been disclosed when speaking to me and telling me multiple times if I don't like them to bring them back. I am now waiting on the owner to call me, which it's been days. I'm assuming they will tell me the same. They don't want to take the hit of the $175, even though their team's positioning of this is clearly omits that MY $175 is at risk.
