I texted letting them know I was about 10 minutes behind, and got a phone call as I pulled into the lot from the at 5:30 telling me they would no longer take my appointment because the eye doctor wanted to head out for the day even though they close at 7. She was still at the office, and I was literally in the parking lot, but she refused to see me and only called as I arrived. Now I have to reschedule (which I'm not doing with Pearle Vision, although I previously was a repeat customer), possibly have an eye infection which they were not concerned at all about and leave for a trip tomorrow. Mr. Whitlock took me back to the machines that did the puff if sir in your eyes and the one that measures your distance , once he finished he said the lady who came in late was going to do the machine that’s takes a picture of both of my eyes, she did that then sent me back to the room where Me. Whitlock was in the room he asked me if I was going to get new glasses J told him no I just got new lenses in my glasses last year. Mr.Whitlock then had me put the cover over one of my eyes and try to read the smallest line which I could not see he then had me cover my other eye and changed the lenses till they were clear and checked bot eyes and then started putting information into the system he then said to me oh your diabetic and I said yes he says oh you are going to need a medical exam he jumps up put numbing drops and drops to dilate my eyes then walks out to the girls in the front and says she needs the medical firm done she diabetic I. Front of the other patients there. Mr.Whitlock comes back in the room and tells me to go upfront the ladies will take care of me. They check me outI pay and the lady tells me to go over to the other side for my prescription. Mr. Whitlock never did a full exam I’m not sure why my eyes were dilated and no exam was done either Mr. Whitlock needs to retire or he was heavily medicated I will never recommend him or this Pearle Vision and to be charged for an exam I didn’t receive ridiculous.","updateTime":"2025-06-22T20:27:13.353040Z"},{"reviewer":"Alexis Pettis","starRating":"FIVE","comment":"I have been going to Pearle for at least 6+ years and Mike (store manager) has been amazing every time. I recently moved and refuse to go to a local eye doctor/store because of the service I get. Mike always fixes my glasses when needed, will send my contacts to my house, AND MOST importantly will greet me with a big smile when I come in for my appointments.\n\nAdditionally, I cannot thank Dr. Whitlock for his eye health expertise. He was able to find a major eye issue that I was having that could have damaged my vision completely.
