I was informed that “the lab does not return them.” I clarified that the lenses are my property and were paid for in full, only to be told, rather dismissively, that “sometimes they do, sometimes they don’t.” I reiterated that the lenses belong to me and must be returned; otherwise, I would consider the failure to do so to be equivalent to withholding my property.\nWhen I returned to pick up my prescription glasses, the prescription was completely incorrect. My vision was severely blurred, yet I was told that this was “normal” and that I simply needed to wear them for two weeks so my eyes could adjust. I expressed that this was not only unreasonable but also unsafe, and that the prescription clearly required correction.\nAt that same visit, I again requested my original Ray-Ban polarized lenses. After repeatedly hearing the same response—that the lab does not return them—staff eventually went to the back and returned with a pair of polarized lenses that appeared used and were not Ray-Ban brand. This was unacceptable, as these were not the lenses I had submitted.\nAt my follow-up appointment, the prescription was significantly revised, and I requested a new frame along with clear instructions to return my original polarized Ray-Ban lenses with the completed order. When I met with the Pearle rep Michele to order lenses I kept asking if this was correct and she assured me she knew what she was doing and not worry even after I expressed numerous times regarding ordering 6 months supply of daily wears. I asked to see the order on screen fur which she could not do but gave me a total and said I was getting a great deal. But I still didn’t think the order was correct. The lenses were ordered and a week later a box arrived and turns out the order was wrong and instead of receiving 6 months of daily’s I only received 6 pair and they are monthly’s. Also, after I returned to the store to share what had happened, they didn’t seem at all apologetic and it may be a coincidence but I’m not able to access the survey now to share my experience so I'm sharing here.
