I asked my question. She answered it. I proceeded to the location when I got there. Sylvia was with a customer already and for the 10 minutes or so that I was sitting there. Sylvia kept giving the customer wrong information about her coverage what she should look for in the glasses what would be coming out of pocket and made several corrections and kept saying I’m sorry I’m sorry so when she called me, Of course, I was a little apprehensive as when I called and was being cheerful and nice. The person who answered the phone cut me off Sylvia, not knowing a policy just didn’t sit right with me so when I sat down, she asked for my prescription she proceeded to look at it over and over up and down. I gave her about a minute or so and I asked what the issue is. She said I’ve never seen one like this before. Is this an online prescription in my mind I’m wondering how do you go to the eye doctor get an exam online I said no ma’am it is actually down the street. It is the 2020 vision that I paid out-of-pocket to get the eye exam because VSP was not covered by them. She looked at me. I don’t know why you’re being so aggressive I said because I don’t feel comfortable in your knowledge of service. She then looked at me and said well now I don’t feel comfortable. I said you asked a question I gave you an answer. She kept proceeding to tell me to have a good day. I told her she doesn’t need to tell me what to do. I asked for her manager name and her number she ignored me. I kept looking on her screen and kept telling me have a good day. I then saw that she had business cards to the left eye asked is this yours? She looked at my shirt and said is that where you work I said yes ma’am it is. I’m actually the manager there and I know how to treat clients and customers she again just kept saying you have a good day. We had a previous dr who wasn’t all knowledgeable in many areas, the one last year, he only cared about charging the $40 for the eye picture so here we were looking for a new dr. This place is THE perfect place. The dr is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and very detailed! So, I took my oldest son (both last week). Today I took my youngest two. My youngest of all 4 has had double vision and things with her eye. First Dr said that she’ll grow out of it and ignored it (the one they looked things up on the computer to see if she was right) and the one from last year didn’t even see it. She immediately asked my daughter if she was having double vision. She knew my daughter’s history without us mentioning what we’ve been through. She spoke to my daughter (9) with respect and treated her with kindness just as she did me. She explained many things to us and made us feel cared for. This dr cares and she is there to make sure that her patients are very well taken care of. Her staff, Sylvia and Ivonne are just amazing. They make you feel at home from the moment you call, when you arrive and walk the time that you’re there. They’re so friendly and very helpful. They don’t follow you around giving you expensive glasses to you or your kids to choose from as did the other place.
