Unfortunately for me the world's biggest crisis of a lens ripping happens at the most inopportune time. After I got out of class today at 5:00 I spent almost 2 hours trying to find an eye doctor who had a pair of my prescription in stock that they would be willing to either sell me or give me to no avail. In a last-ditch effort I looked up a few more eye places and found Pearle Vision in Valley ranch, the girl on the phone and the eye doctor Dr Huber got me set up so I can get home safely and rely on my contact lenses for both my practicals that I have this week final exams next week and to get me home safe until I see my eye doctor. I now have great vision insurance so the pair even with special coating only cost me $45 dollars which I could charge to my Flexible spending account. The glasses even over the Xmas holidays were ready within two weeks. When I returned to pick them up, Amanda was amazing in helping me. The only negative experience is the oil change store directly across the parking lot. I came to pick them up on Saturday. Never do that. I almost got completely locked in by the cars lined up for an oil change. Pearle should really should consider relocating their location as this is a major hassle for their customers.
